The Whole Earth

There is only
one earth.

Not theirs.
Not ours.
Not yours.
Not mine.

One earth.

And she does not
recognize
the borders
we've drawn
across her body.

She knows only rivers,
only wind,
only the slow patient work
of holding all of us
at once.

We would do well
to learn
from her.
